We were thrilled to find a new piece of driftwood with beautiful swirls while visiting our friend on Saltspring Island. Burgoyne Bay (Xwaagw'um) is a beautiful quiet bay full of seals playing in the water. We walked along the beach (with our heads down, of course) and found a piece of driftwood with interesting patterns. So happy to add this one to our driftwood imprint family & to our New Collection.
We would like to acknowledge that the Indigenous People have used Burgoyne Valley for thousands of years. Burgoyne Bay contains 11 documented archaeological sites and many other sites of spiritual and cultural significance connected to the creation story of the Hul’qumi’num people.
