Hi, this is Shoko! Every few years, I go back to Japan to visit my family and my favourite place to visit is the Kamakura & Enoshima area. Beautiful beaches, surfer vibe throughout the town and slow pace all remind me of Vancouver Island and I'm able to take a breath and relax. The time I found this shell was when I was back for my friends' wedding - they had a beautiful wedding at an old sake brewery in Kamakura and it was such a precious time for all of us. A few days before the wedding, we went to a beach on a hunt for special treasures and this moon snail shell was one of the finds. They are small, simple and full of character.
