We designed these studs with the West Coast in mind! With the unique imprint of Douglas Fir tree bark, they will leave you feeling connected to nature. Douglas Fir is easy to identify as they can be as tall as 85 meters on the coast of Vancouver Island. The bark becomes very thick with age and deeply grooved, with dark reddish-brown ridges. This particular bark was found in Metchosin which is just outside of Victoria, BC
